GOSHEN COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES NEW CEO

Torrington, WY --- Brayden Connour of Torrington has been selected as the new Chief Executive Officer of Goshen Economic Development. He will be filling the upcoming vacancy due to the retirement of current CEO, Lisa Miller. Connour will assume his new duties effective January 1, 2022.


As the Business Development Director for GED the past several years, where small business is big business, Connour has worked with and assisted Goshen County’s local businesses county wide. Connour brings economic development experience at both the local and state level. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with degrees in Finance and Ag Business and is certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional through the National Development Council.


“Brayden’s promotion will create a seamless transition for our members, staff, and board of directors. We are pleased to have a current employee with his credentials to be able to step up and take over the reins as a successor to Lisa,” said Scott Prusia, President of Goshen Economic Development.


Brayden noted his “excitement for the opportunity to lead this organization and am grateful for the vote of confidence from the Board of Directors. Goshen Economic Development will continue to serve the citizens, small businesses, and municipalities of Goshen County. Our team will continue to build on successes in economic development, tourism, Main Street, and Chamber efforts.”


Current CEO, Lisa Miller announced her retirement in October. The major deciding factor being based on family needs back in her home state. “I cannot thank Lisa and her team enough for their efforts during her tenure. She leaves behind an excellent team who is prepared to move the organization forward. We wish Lisa only the best and will miss her in Goshen County.”
