Torrington, WY --- The North Platte Valley Conservation District was awarded Progress Program funds to go towards the purchase of a small no-till drill that could be pulled behind an ATV or UTV and a trailer for transporting the implement. The implement is rented at a reasonable cost to area landowners that do not have a tractor but are in need of area seeding. Goshen Economic Development is proud to partner with the local conservation district for the purchase of this important piece of equipment. Agriculture is the backbone of our community and county and Goshen Economic Development is proud to support area agriculturalists.
Goshen Economic Development – which includes Economic Development, the Goshen County Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street – is a non-profit organization that prioritizes the retention and expansion of local businesses. Since 1987, the organization has encouraged business growth, created jobs, and built on local community assets in five Wyoming municipalities: Fort Laramie, LaGrange, Lingle, Torrington, and Yoder.
