Governor Gordon Announces Assistance Program for Businesses Impacted by Early Closures

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Governor Mark Gordon, the Wyoming Business Council, and the Wyoming Department of Health are all working together to quickly roll out a relief program to businesses that now have reduced hours of operation.

Governor's Hospitality Loss Relief Program

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Governor Mark Gordon announced the opening of the Hospitality Loss Relief Program, which provides pandemic relief for hospitality businesses and nonprofits whose operations have been interrupted by the reduced hours provisions in recent health orders.

Awards up to $50,000 are available for Wyoming bars, taverns, restaurants, or hotels that derive their primary revenue between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. from on-premises sales and consumption of malt beverages, wine, and/or liquor...

Goshen Economic Development-Progress Program Awards

Torrington, WY --- The Goshen Economic Development Board of Directors awarded $12,675 Progress Program funds to three projects in Goshen County.


The South Goshen Conservation District requested $3,675 for a Gopher Eliminator machine and custom trailer to haul it. Progress Program funding makes up 50% of a total project cost.

Goshen County celebrated its community by recognizing businesses and individuals.  The Annual Chamber Awards recognize and honor Goshen County citizens who demonstrate excellence and community leadership in volunteerism, entrepreneurship, work ethic and business. Winners were announced at the Goshen Economic Development Annual Meeting held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 21st & Main via live Facebook and radio [Chinch Country] remote.

Torrington, WY --- Goshen Economic Development in partnership with the City of Torrington applied to the Wyoming Business Council for a Business-Ready Community (BRC) Grant.  The grant request is for the $2.5 million purchase price of the Wyoming Ethanol facility.  If funded, the City of Torrington will purchase the Wyoming Ethanol facility and triple-net lease it to Panhandle CO-OP.
