Vote YES to Continue the ¼ Penny Sales Tax for Economic Development

That’s only 1/400th of a dollar, and it does so much for our community.

Voting to continue this ¼ penny sales tax not only makes sense for Goshen County; it actually makes cents (and dollars) for Goshen County businesses, municipalities, and nonprofits, too.

To date, the funds collected through ¼ penny sales tax for economic development have allowed Goshen Economic Development to award more than $1.2 million to local businesses, municipalities, and nonprofits.

Your vote to continue the existing ¼ penny sales tax—just 1/400th of a dollar!—means continuing our ability to:

  • Foster community by hosting annual events

    • 3rd Thursdays

    • Christmas Parade

    • Goshen County Fair Parade

    • Holiday Happenings
      Small Business Saturday

    • Trunk or Treat / Safety Treat

    • Veterans Banner Program

    • Yearly ag breakfast

Continuing the ¼ penny means we get to continue supporting our community.

To show your support, stop by our office to pick up a yard sign!

We’re here (110 W. 22nd Ave. in Torrington) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m to 4 p.m., and we’d love to see you.
