WHY TO CONTINUE THE
¼ PENNY SALES TAX?

DID YOU KNOW?

The citizens of Goshen County were the first in Wyoming to approve a county sales tax for economic development!

Voting to continue this ¼ penny sales tax not only makes sense for Goshen County; it actually makes cents (and dollars, too) for Goshen County businesses, municipalities, and nonprofits!

To date, the funds collected through ¼ penny sales tax have allowed Goshen Economic Development to award more than $1.3 million to local businesses, municipalities, and nonprofits.

Your vote to continue the existing ¼ penny sales tax means continuing our ability to:

  • Fund infrastructure projects that improve our communities

    • Community centers

      • Fort Laramie Community Center

      • Lingle Community Center
