
GOSHEN MAIN STREET DESIGNATED AS A NATIONAL CERTIFIED MAIN STREET
Torrington, WY – On behalf of Main Street businesses throughout Goshen County, Goshen Economic Development began the process of becoming a National Certified Main Street three years ago. The process included the addition of events such as 3rd Thursday’s and expansion of existing events such as Holiday activities. National Main Street Certification creates national exposure, provides additional grant funding opportunities, and results in a cohesive community.

Brayden Connour, CEO of Goshen Economic Development. Brayden started with Goshen Economic Development as the Business Development Director in August of 2019 and took over as CEO in January of 2022. The biggest achievement to date is passing the ¼ cent sales tax for economic development on November 8th. Prior to his time in Torrington, he spent three years at the Wyoming Business Council, as a Project Manager for the Business-Ready Community program, working with municipalities across the State of Wyoming. Brayden graduated from the University of Wyoming with dual bachelor's degrees in Finance and Ag. Business. He is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) through the National Development Council (NDC). Brayden serves on the Goshen County 2-Shot Goose Hunt Committee, Torrington Community Hospital Advisory Board of Directors and is a member of the Torrington Rotary Club. In his spare time, Brayden enjoys hunting, golfing and spending time with his wife and daughter.
