Brayden Connour, the CEO, is responsible for providing leadership in the business development and job creation activities of Goshen County along with the development and implementation of the strategic goals and objectives of GED. He also works to recruit, retain and expand business in Goshen County. Brayden has been with Goshen Economic Development since August of 2019. Prior to that, he spent three years at the Wyoming Business Council as a Project Manager for the Business-Ready Community program, working with municipalities across the State of Wyoming. Brayden graduated from the University of Wyoming with dual bachelor's degrees in Finance and Ag. Business. He is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) through the National Development Council (NDC). Brayden serves on the Goshen County 2-Shot Goose Hunt Committee, the Community Hospital Advisory Board of Directors, Torrington Rotary Board of Directors, and the Wyoming Economic Development Association - Legislative Committee. In his spare time, Brayden enjoys hunting, golfing, spending time with his wife, Lynn, daughter, Brynn, and black lab, Myla. Brayden believes that in any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing.
Brayden believes Goshen County is truly a great place to live and is determined to leave it a great place to live for future generations.
